Reflection

Creative Strand was a marvellous idea but the punishment was too harsh. We had small amount of time because of Assembly and Technology. The punishment was if we haven't produced the movie in the recommended time we would be stuck with Literacy Rotation for 3 whole weeks. I love my teachers, there a very precious of god to us but we don't have enough time to produce our movie. Also I need to manage my time wisely.

Beauty and The Beast Rewrite

Charming and the Beast:

Once upon a time there lived a ferocious woman eating beast, that lived deep in the heart of the forest in a gloomy underground lair.

There was a prince charming who once went into the woods to practice some archery, he shot some arrows and went to fetch them then all of a sudden he stumbled across a trap and fell in.

He was knocked out unconscious , until he woke up to a saggy beast curled up on a lazy Boy staring at him. Charming got the biggest fright of his life and he said to the Beast “ I’ll be back tomorrow I just need clothes”. So the  beast accepted his request and sent him off.

The beast waited beast waited and waited staring at the same place where the prince was hoping he would come back, but he never turned up.  She felt heart broken and twitched her eye and looked furiously everywhere as she picked up his scent and set off to hunt him down.

While the prince was practicing fencing in his room  the the  beast bursts through his window with blood shot eyes sweeps the prince off his feet and takes him back to her dungeon of doom. She orders the prince to dine with him every night. The prince did it because he was afraid of her, but shortly he started to see changes in her body language and in the way she treated him. So he started developing feelings for her.

One night while they were having dinner. He asked the beast “ Why do you live in this lair all alone?” “Because I’ve been cursed, if I don’t find true love I will die.” Replied the beast. The prince developed even deeper feelings for the beast and showed the beast how to have a great time. They both learn how to waltz together and then changed the dark lair into a beautiful radiant palace. Meanwhile in the kingdom of Charmington all the people were looking for their prince. They searched high and low then came to a conclusion that the prince was dead.

His mother refused to believe it because she saw scratch marks on the on his bedroom window and knew it was the beast. So she grabbed his bow and arrows and went off to search for the beast's’ lair. While the beast and the prince were having dinner the mother bursts through the door aiming her arrow at the beast ready to shoot. As she shoots the prince jumps in front of the beast to protect her and gets shot right in the heart. He looked towards the beast and said his last words “I love you.” The beast kissed the prince goodbye.

The beast suddenly started glowing and elevated into the air glowing bright yellow twirling around. Slowly the beast turned into a human, as the beast lies back down the light diminishes revealing a beautiful, stunning princess. The magic light from the transformation healed the dying prince. Seeing this, The mother had a change of heart and shortly after the prince and the beast got married they ruled the Charmington Kingdom together.

Prospective Student

Determined to climb the towering mountain, the boy gripped tenuously onto the rocky ledge. He struggled to hold on and nearly fell onto the solid rocks. But he kept his eye on the prize and kept climbing until he reached the top.

He struggled to walk up the footpath as he had just finished climbing a huge mountain. As he walked up the stairs he knocked quietly on the door. He hoped that the sensei would walk out of the dojo and seek him as a student.

As the massive door opened, he could hear the clattering of chains. The sensei walked in front of him,  then glares at him for a little while then points left. The boy left then stops. He paused for a while, then meditates night and day. Sensei  came out and looked down he pointed to the left, then the boy clicked his fist then kicked the door open. The Sensei came then pointed to the sign which said, “ Please use Side Entrance”. The boy stood with embarrassment.

I really enjoyed watching the movie and writing this narrative about it.

Joshua came to our group and he told us about SPOKEN WORD. He said that we all have a voice and it is valued. I really enjoyed this session.

Cyber Bullying !

Cyber Bullying is one of the worstest bullying yet. Last week A very important friend of mine went on her ASK.FM Account and she had a anonomous person call her names and almost made her comit Suicide and that night she cryed in tears so I do not support cyber bullying.

Literacy Rotation

Team 5 teachers suggested to have a Literacy Rotation. It gives us intermediate to have the opportunity to learn about Reading, Writing and SSR. We also learn to create Animations and record video and turn it into movies. Well, basically every student is able to learn more and be able to write better stories and also improve there reading level and for the future to be Animators and also Video stars and director and all kinds of stuff.

To me Literacy Rotation is a brilliant idea because now I'm able to write Narratives and Recounts better. I went to Animation and Recording and we made a movie about Michael Jackson song "We Are The World". I really enjoyed animating the song. Mostly I enjoyed recording. It was fun.

I really enjoy Literacy Rotation. I would love to have another Literacy Rotation. I really love it.

MHKR ( My Healthy Kitchen Rules ) Narritive

As Joshua cut his carrot for his salad he forgot to take the chicken out of the oven but he was able to take it out but he had no time to see if it was burnt or not and finish in-time before the times ran out. His meal was looking amazing.  He hoped the chicken was cooked perfectly.

It was the quarterfinals so four must become two before the day ends. “ Teams , you may have a break and come back for the final decision.”  After waiting the judges asked the teams to come back for the last decision. “ The first person going through the semi-final is........Joshua.” Joshua jumped when his name was called out. He, then waited for to see who he was competing with and he hoped it wasn’t Julia the best cooker in the cook fest in NSW. Next person going on to semi-finals is Julia.

Judges then asked Joshua and Julia to exit the building for a good night rest for the next day. Time for the big cook-off says Joshua. He gets ready then heads to the MHKR ( My Healthy Kitchen Rules ! ) He had to cook a beautiful main meal for the judges. Joshua ran to the kitchen and start making his Grilled Chicken with summer salad. He cut his cucumbers then dropped his grazed carrot so he made a new batch of grazed carrot. Two more minutes says the judges. As he finished it off he was just in-time. Teams grab your meal and head to the waiting room.  Then the judges ask them to come back for the decision. They said, “ the team that stunned us with their meals and is the winner of MHKR is Joshua. Joshua got so excited he circled around the whole building over and over again.

Joshua became a chef and he own a company called HAPPY VEGGIES !. He was also named as one of the best chef in the global atmosphere.
