Malaysia Airline MH370 : Report

Malaysia Airline plane MH370 disappeared off radar with 239 people on board and still haven’t been found.

The plane was bound for Beijing. The weather was OK, the plane was at cruising altitude and the pilots didn’t send a distress signal at all. The plane was going higher than cruising attitude and vanishes in thin air. The last words from co-pilot to the air traffic controllers before planes disappeared was, “ All right, Good Night.” then the transponder shuts down, removing the plane's identification on radar systems.

Twelve hours after the plane vanished, search and rescue teams from Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam began looking for debris or wreckage off Vietnam of the plane. China and the Philippines soon sent over their own ships and aircraft to help. 3 days later the Malaysian prime - minister makes a SOS call to India prime-minister. Investigators now suspects that the planes was taken over by hijackers or the pilot himself was involved.

Planes and ships are hunting for the flight from across Asia. Police are also searching for eye-witnesses. Later they discover that two passengers had stolen passports. Investigators are now trying to figure out how did the two passengers get in with fake passports. 27 countries are now looking for flight MH370.

The search continues for the mysterious flight MH370. Will it be found ?

Empathy !!

WALT: Comprehend concepts related
to mental health and emotional promotion.
What is empathy?
The ability to understand and believe the thoughts and feelings of another. To put yourself in other peoples shoes.
Why is it important to show empathy toward others?
Empathy is important for our society because it is what facilitates our interactions and our connection to the many other people around us. Empathy is what helps to build a happy, successful and positive community.
What does it mean to “put yourself in someone else’s shoes”?
To put yourself in there perspective ( their point of view ). Like putting yourself in the talkers position. Maybe the talkers hurt and needs someone to help him feel better.
What does that have to do with empathy?
If you put yourself in their shoes they will feel loved and cared about
What can you do to show empathy toward another person?
If you are talking to someone, and suddenly he/she tells you something emotional, such as "I just lost my job." How do you respond? Respond with empathy, and you will greatly improve your relationship with the other person. But respond as if you do not really care, you could ruin the relationship.
Make a popplet or Google drawing a displaying ways that you can reach out to others.
Think of a time when you hurt someone’s feelings. Describe what happened.
When I bullied a kid for being a nerd but found out he had other personal problems. I could feel his pain and sorrow somehow. I felt guilty for making it worst.
How did you know you hurt the person’s feelings?
The look in his eyes and his quirky voice. Also his fist was tight together and I saw vain's in his head. I thought he was going to take his life. He was in a lot of pain and I made it worst.
How did you feel about the situation?
I felt this anger and also I felt guilty running through my vain's. I felt like punching a wall at first because I sympathized to him and I felt his pain and sorrow. It was a life changing experience.
What did you do to make the situation better?
I apologised then talked about it and became his friend. My friend and I now talk a lot now. In fact we became best friends.
Discuss how you think your school would change if all of the students showed empathy toward each other.
Wow, That would be amazing. Everyone would be kind. No disrespect. Nothing ! It would be a miracle.
Do you think it would be a big change or a small change? Why do you think so?
It would be a very big change because on my perspective I see hate, hurt and bully on a few of other kids.

My Second Triangle Addition

One of our math task today was working on an addition triangle. One of the rules is that you can not write the same two numbers in each row. I have just completed my 1st triangle and now I am moving onto a more difficult one.

My Time to Shine !

Heavily Breathing, I close my eyes and done a short prayer in my head. “ 2 Minutes ” shouts Mr Jacobson. I gather up with the band then head up the stage.

I felt not so nervous anymore because the darkness covered the crowd like fog but all I see is flashing from peoples camera. The guitars starts playing then the piano then I start singing. It was awesome. I kept singing and singing because I knew it was my turn to shine. I saw everyone on the stage they were trying there hardest too.

It was a once in a life-time experience singing in from of a massive crowd. After that, I head back to watch others perform, I think they noticed the darkness. I cheered on everyone as they cheered me on. Their performance was amazing.

Again, I head up with others then immediately the song comes on, I start dancing and singing so as the others. It was breath taking. Then the song came to a stop. We bow then head down. I overcome my fear.

Then came Mr Bark’s performance. They were making beats out of a trashed car. It was thrilling. Then came the Cook Island’s dance. It was the best out of all. I really want to do that again because we can share our talents and make our dreams come to life.

Then the time of Fiafia came to a stop so we headed home. At home we had a mean feed, it was chicken and chips, my favourite food of all. We started talking about our performance and my sister was criticising me but I never cared, I knew she was kidding. After that, I watched T.V then I went to sleep.

I really enjoyed Fiafia. Next time, I'm gonna rock the stage but until then I need to focus on school. I wanna thank Mr Jacobson, Mr Burt, Ms Muliaumasealii and Mrs Tito. And to my friends for believing in me, Thanks for your support. :D
